What this doesn't change.
- Nobody sees anything their own pledge doesn't cover. Locked posts stay locked
- Nothing is downloaded. Media plays from Patreon the way it does on your page
- Views and likes still count with Patreon
- Your patrons need Puretreon installed to open a playlist
- There are no numbers on any of it. Puretreon has no analytics, so nobody can tell you who opened your link
Questions creators ask
Can I see who opened my playlist?
No, and neither can I. Patreon's own post insights are still the only numbers there are.
Does this pull people off my Patreon page?
It is your Patreon page. Same posts, same session, and every post carries an Open on Patreon link.
Can a non-patron open the link?
They can, and they see what they'd see on your page: titles, your previews, and the locked posts locked.
Does it work with my tiers?
Yes. Patreon decides who sees what, on every post, exactly as it does now.
Will a playlist break if I delete a post?
The playlist survives and the deleted post drops quietly out of it.
